Having a Blast

Hello From India!!
Hello all you beautiful people! I am having a blast here in India! I have not been able to get to the internet very much, hence, the super long time between posting. I am not able to upload any pictures unfortunately, but I will be sure to do so once I get back home on March 26th. I have been spending my time with some fantastic new friends, in a tropical paradise! I've been doing tonnes of studying and lots and lots of yoga! This resort is full of coconut palm trees!! I have made some great friends here, especially my roomate Yvonne, she's great...when we have a gecko or a cockroach in the room she takes care of it! Which is good, because I am not about to escort a cockroach outside! Today we all had the day off so I just hung around the pool and did some studying. It's beautiful here, around 37 degrees, always sunny, and the people are really friendly. Some of the interestign things about this area: There are about a million and a half crows here...no kidding...crows!! They also play Indian music over some loud speakers 24/7, and one really sad thing is that there is no recycling here, so everything, garbage, recycling etc. gets burned every night. This means that all the laundry we have to wash and hang out to dry on the clothesline rope mom made me pack ( thanks mom!) smells like smoke every day. It's a beautiful country...but there is so much sadness and poverty here it breaks my heart.

I have to go now...internet time is up! But I will write again as soon as I am able!

Sending my love to Canada!!

Peace and Love ( from India)
Love,
Daphne

Getting Ready for India

I finally got to take a look at my India Tourist Visa! Isn't it a beautiful sight?! I am currently back home in Chase visiting with Mom and Dad for a couple days...I will also be using the help of my amazing Mother to expertly pack my backpack for my trip. As she is the luggage packing champion and I do not know the meaning of "packing light". I will be here at home until I drive to Vancouver on Wednesday with my Mom, we will be staying the night in the City and then I will be boarding my flight at 3pm on Thursday. I am getting really excited, though I feel as if I am being propelled forward at an unbelieveable rate...I wish I knew a bit more about slowing time down just for a few days! I have been talking a little bit with some of the other Moksha training students via Facebook, so it will be nice to know some of them at least somewhat, before I get there. I am really excited to meet the group of 60 other Moksha students, as I know it will be an amazingly positive and encouraging group! I just have a few more ends to tie up and errands to run tomorrow, and then I'll be off to Vancouver! My flight Itinerary will take me from Vancouver to Frankfurt, then to Dubai, and finally on February 13th, I will land in Trivandrum in Southern India! I will update this blog as often as possible, though I am told that I will not have regular internet access from where I will be staying in India. I am hoping to be able to put up a few updates per week along with some pictures of the gorgeous area that I will be in...Beach resort....that is all I will say :) You can check out the resort website here http://www.isoladicocco.com/

That's all for now!! I hope you are all well!

As always, lots of LOVE and PEACE!
